Each art print is printed on archival, acid-free paper using the giclée printing process. The matt finish gives the fine art prints a very special look thanks to its light-absorbing properties. The art prints on poster paper are shown to their best advantage with an individually selected frame, ideally complemented by a passpartout.

What sizes are the fine art giclée prints available in?

The sizes of fine art prints on poster paper on offer start at DINA 4 (30 x 21 cm including white border) and go up to 70 x 50 cm (including white border). Certain aspect ratios are standard dimensions in inches, from which the corresponding cm dimensions are derived (e.g. 18 x 18 inches = 45.72 x 45.72 cm).

Due to the production process, the product dimensions may vary by up to 0.51 cm.

What is the best way to hang the fine art prints?

The easiest way to display the fine art prints is to hang them on the wall like a poster. However, they unfold their full effect and inspirational power when the giclée prints are presented in a suitable frame. A passpartout is also recommended so that the white border around the print area appears even on all sides. The individual choice of frame gives the fine art print a very personal touch.

How are the fine art prints shipped?

The art prints on poster paper are rolled and wrapped in tissue paper and sent in sturdy triangular cardboard boxes. After unpacking, the fine art prints should be unrolled and placed on a clean surface with a light weight.

Why do the fine art prints have a white border?

Every fine art print reproduces the complete original work of art. This can only be achieved by placing the print file in the center of the safe print area. This results in white edges (outside the safe print area). As there may be small deviations in the edges, the art print should preferably be framed with a passepartout.
